Program Assistant for FaithBridge Portland (IMMEDIATE OPENING!)

Location: Portland, Oregon. 

Status: Part-time Employee; Non-exempt position 30 hrs per week.

 

Position Description: The Program Assistant supports FaithBridge Portland’s office operations, assists the program team, and is a valuable member of the FaithBridge family. 

 

Reports to: Executive Director

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Oversee office operations including managing client registrations, intakes, and weekly communications.

 

  • Ordering and maintaining office supplies and snacks for group meeting.

 

  • Serve as the Assistant to the Executive Director.

 

  • Help with set-up and cleanup for program activities.

 

  • Support staff by assisting with tracking time and other human resource activities.

 

  • Provide support to FaithBridge staff & contractors.

 

  • Help organize events and fundraisers.

 

  • Respond to staff requests in a timely manner.

 

  • Communicate with clients and the public in person, phone, and email.

 

  • Other tasks as assigned.

 

Required Qualifications and Skills: 

 

  • Expert knowledge of Google suite, Excel & Zoom.

 

  • Commitment to racial equity and justice principles.

 

  • Knowledge of and commitment to Trauma Informed principles.

 

  • Able to work effectively within a team-dependent environment

 

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

 

  • Can be flexible and adapt to changing priorities and responsibilities depending on the needs of the program.

 

  • Possesses strong verbal and written communication skills.

 

  • Possesses excellent time management, prioritization and organizational skills.

 

  • Ability and commitment to continuous quality improvements and innovation.

 

  • Be friendly and approachable as this position may be the first impression the community has of the organization.

 

  • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality at all times.

This position is a flexible remote position. The position would need to be on-site two days per week.

Salary & Benefits: $21.63 per hour, depending on experience. Generous vacation package, paid holidays and personal days, and an encouraging and flexible work environment. POSITION MAY BECOME FULL-TIME IN THE COMING YEAR WITH BENEFITS.
